Last night I had a dream an ex-friend of mine and I were in the grocery store shopping she has her basket and I had mine, we were going along on our own and I was approached by a good looking sicilian man he was dressed very nice and he was trying to have casual conversation with me, as we chatted we apporached the dairy section of the store and I needed eggs so he reached over to grab some for me, but he was grabbing for the 2 dozen cartons, I wanted the 3 dozen cartons as he was trying to get the ones I wanted he accidently broke about three of the eggs, so he moved himself away from the shelf and I got  the eggs myself and I picked up the 2 dozen carton instead of the 3 dozen. What does this mean????......

Psychological Meaning: To dream of an egg promises that something new is about to happen in your life. You may be 'hatching' a new idea or plan. After a period of waiting wonderful new possibilities will open to you. At this stage you will need to carefully nurture your plans as eggs are delicate things and can be easily broken. The egg could also symbolise inner potentials that are developing within you. You may be learning new skills or feel that you are developing into a new and better person. You need time to incubate this new side of yourself. Soon you will be able to 'break out of your shell'.

        • Neicy, I believe very strongly in dreams communicating  meaning into our lives, but I hold no real confidence in dream interpretation. The times when I have had the most clarity in understanding my dreams, I have taken each element and looked at it’s symbolic meaning to me, then asked God for divine interpretation.

However, if you feel the interpretation you have received is accurate, then you have the answer you are seeking! I’d be interested in hearing what your “eggs” (plans) are!

        • Neicy,

My husband told me this morning, I was talking to the parents of my students giving instruction on how behavior and discipline will be shown in the classroom charting.  He told me I gave the rules and the consequences!  I haven’t taught in about 6 years, I had to take a medical retirement.  What does it mean?

I haven’t dreamed in probably 7 or 8 months, because meds. have blocked the capability of dreaming.  I don’t remember this dream.  But, he said it was as if I were standing in front of the class for a parent meeting!  I miss my babies, but I also know I can never go back, which does depress me.

        • I hold no confidence in generic dream interpretation either.  I strongly believe dreams have very real meaning, but the only way to interpret them accurately is to put the dream together with all the other pieces of your life.

For instance, I dreamed about a dwarf and a cat the other night.  I’m sure I could find some symbolic interpretation of those things.  In reality, the dwarf came from a book I’d been reading and the cat came from the pictures I’d posted on the pet topic here.

What kind of plans are you hatching Neicy?  Anything eggciting?  Sorry I couldn’t resist the pun. happy
If you do have plans in the making, you know I wish you all the best.

        • [Link Removed] I love the pun lol, to you and Coach, well i have been working on finishing my novel and hoping and praying for a miraculous outcome of it I also have an awesome idea for a new creation for chicken and other meal preps that I may try to get marketed, as well as some things that the Lord is elevating me in, in ministry so there are quite a few eggs waiting to be hatched in my basket to be continued......
