Okay I am very frustrated today.  For over a year I have maintained my weight, give or take a few pounds both ways.  I seem to go back and forth between three pounds.  I am very proud of myself for losing 125 lbs. and keeping it off, but I really need to lose 20 to 25 more pounds.

This week I barely exercised, ate normal with a few chocolate splurges and lost weight from last week.  This is where the frustration comes in.  Last week, I watched everything I ate, exercised and worked out and had gained weight.

This is making me crazy!  I work so hard at looking and feeling great but I just can’t seem to get out of the year rut.  What am I doing wrong?  I hate this!

        • I know some of what you‘re going through, no one believes me but I keep struggling to get under 200lbs. Yes I’m tall, yes I carry it well,(atleast that’s what they say) but the fact remains I too struggle like you. So I resolve to keep up my regimen, and feel good no matter what the scale says. Exercise as much as I can but still feeling good not exhausted. Smiling, singing and saying positive things to myself.

        • Thank you 47, I needed that encouragement.  I do feel better when I work out, so I guess if that is all it is at least I know I am healthy or at least doing everything I can do to be healthy.

        • I have the VERY same problem.  I joined Weight Watchers the Monday after Christmas.  I’ve lost a total of 2 big pounds. frown  I haven’t been exercising but was watching my diet—- Low fat, low calories, cut out my “bad” snacks, etc.  I’ve started exercing now (20 min 4xweek) but my weight still hangs on.

IT IS VERY DISCOURAGING but I’m going to keep up the walking and think about my heart.  I don’t know the deal with no weight loss.  Wish I did!

          Just keep it up!!!

        • Don’t give up! When I do Weight Watchers I have to be careful that I don’t eat too much junk. I think that just because a “diet” cookie is 2 points, that I can eat 10 points worth...not so. I do much better and loose quicker when I eat healthy consistently. I splurge every now and then. When I was having difficulty like you, I journaled all my eating. Then I took my journal into my WW counselor and had her look at my whole week of eating. She was able to give me advise to get me over the hump. One thing I was doing was eating too much junkie “diet processed” food. Also I was not counting my activity points. If you don’t eat enought, you won’t continue to loose weight either, freaky huh? Good luck!
