September 1st was my grandbaby’s birthday party. I got all “dolled up“...
We were on our 1 1/2 hour drive to the party when I noticed that I had put on two different earrings. When I put them on I didn’t even look in the mirror...I just took them out of the armoire and put em on. After I noticed I took them out....then I thought, what the heck, so I put them back on. I showed my son when I got to the party and he said “That is so awesome mom, did you do that on purpose?” I laughed and said “yeah right, sure I did it on purpose.

Anyone else have a story they’d like to share.  Sometimes knowing we‘re not alone in what happens to us brings some comfort...even when it involves laughing at ourselves.

        • Just the other day I was making some tea and I was wondering why it was taking so long for the water to boil.  I went back into the kitchen and noticed that I “had” turned on the front burner...but I placed the kettle of water on the back burner.
          aargh!!

        • Back when I was trying to work while learning to deal with fibromyalgia it used to be very hard for me to take showers. I could never remember which came first, the shampoo or the conditioner. Sometimes I’d be in there for a while...

Glad those days are OVER! I still get fibro-fog, but the stress of trying to get ready for work everyday (at a very toxic job) was sooo painful and I’m glad it’s over.
