I have flabby upper arms, although since losing so much weight and building up the muscles they are much better.  They still jiggle to a degree.  I also have a stomach overhang.  I feel really good about where I have came from, but I’m wondering if I will ever be able to get rid of the excess skin without going as far as to be thinking surgery?

        • Strength training is indeed necessary to keep our bodies toned and since muscle burns more calories than fat, extra muscle has an extra bonus. I wonder, when it comes to excess skin issues, if our pharmasist who writes a regular column, has any insight. Since collagen is the building block of skin tissue and effects our elasticity, she may be able to suggest something to help with building new collagen or preserving what we already have.

        • I have this big rubber band I step on it and work my arms. It works. I know it sounds funny. I can’t think what you call it. I am laughing at myself right now.
