Hello,  I am new to this site, but felt like I needed a little support or maybe needed to chat with some people who are dealing with the same problem that I am.  I have Fibromyalgia and have had it for a number of years.  I always have pain, just sometimes worse than others, but this is the worst flare-up that I have ever had.  I’ve been to the doctor a couple of times because I just can’t take the pain anymore.  My Lyrica has been upped to three times a day and I am on pain pills and that has helped some, but when I go to do something it only makes it worse.  It hurts to sit, lay, stand or do anything.  I can’t sleep.  I fall asleep for a minute or two and then I’m back up again.  My legs are shaking so bad that I can barely get around.  Does anyone have any suggestions for me.  I would really appreciate it.  This has been going on for quite a while now and I don’t know how much more I can take.  Sorry about all the complaining, I’m just in so much pain.

Thanks for any suggestion you have to offer.

      Brenda

        • First: Welcome
Second: You are not complaining. You are just sharing.
Third: I do not have the issues but have you watched for your food or stress.  Do you think something by chance that has triggered it more so than the others?  Just wondering.

        • I suggest you talk to your MD first thing.  Sometimes, with RX mix and match, they don’t know until we tell them.

        • Brenda,
Have you looked into holistic at all? I am not the same person I was five years ago. CD is right about mixing meds. For my friend it was fatal (I actually wrote a post about it recently.)
I have been where you are and it is not a fun place. I am sorry you are struggling so. I can share with you what helped me if you are interested.

        • I have fibro and started taking a nutritional supplement. I love what the supplement has done for me that I started a little social network. I have recently posted a new video on Fibro. The woman is not me but a testimony to the power of Reliv. If you are interested [Link Removed]

        • I’m in the same place that you are.  It sounds like you‘re doing the right things, working with your doctor and all that.  My only words of wisdom would be that you be gentle with yourself.  Allow yourself to reach out for help, to get things off your chest, to allow yourself to feel bad.

How is your support network?  Family and friends?  Can you lean on some of them right now?

          Good luck!
