Social Workers & Foster Home Licensors if you have foster parents and/or relative care providers who have children in their homes with challenging behaviors this would be a great opportunity for them to gain skills in specifically parenting the 'Difficult Child'.  Please note due to present budget restraints our Foster Parent & Relative Special Topic trainings will be limited so please take advantage of this opportunity plus foster parents gain training hours.  Please see below for more information.

Please share with your Foster Parents, Relative Caregivers, Foster-Adoptive Parents and Foster care community this Exciting Training Opportunity, the topic of Succeeding with The Difficult Child scheduled for Friday, October 31, 2008 at   2100 24th Avenue South, Seattle (aka Tree-House).  The trainer, Gary Benton, presents a pioneering & excellent training to give foster parents and relative care-givers tools for successful parenting as they help our children as they move through the foster care system!

I have attached the flyer with more details...

Please Remember, this training is designed with the foster parent/relative caregiver in mind, and is purchased with foster parent training dollars, but anyone from the foster parent community (i.e. CASA's, private agency staff, teachers, etc.) who work with our children may attend free of charge on a space available basis.

If you'd like to attend, send your e-mail with your full name, e-mail & mailing address and area code and telephone number to Stephanie Swallow at [Link Removed]

PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL RECEIVE WRITTEN CONFIRMATION 5 DAYS PRIOR TO THE SPECIAL TOPICS CLASS YOU ARE REGISTERING.

Thanks for your interest in our Foster Parent, Relative Care-Giver and Foster-Adoptive Special Topics Workshops/Trainings and we look forward to seeing you.
