    • To all my fellow crocheter’s out there.  Most of you will probably agree, yarn is getting outrageous.  Especially specialty yarns (anything other than worsted weight or sport weight/baby weight).  So I wanted to share this little tip (that I am sure some of you already know about), if you have a BigLots in your area check to see if they sell yarn... I often find some really nice specialty yarns that would cost $5 or more anywhere else for $1.  I tend to be one of those crocheters who buy the yarn THEN figure out what I am going to do with it later...lol.

They often have the eyelash yarns, fluffy yarns, and even sometimes some of the tiny strand cashmere types.  All of these are great for trims or small projects.  I rarely use a pattern so love to experiment with these type yarns when I can get them for so cheap.
