It’s truly amazing as to what garlic and ginger can do to food.

My family has been hit by the economy so instead of looking at this negatively, I decided to challenge myself by coming up with ecipes with either only less than 5 ingredients, or
making a well balanced meal that is affordable, pleasing to the eye and tasty!

So, I started out with 2 basic things.

That’s the most basic.  Watch out for more!

      Love it

        • Can’t go wrong with garlic and ginger! Love them both. Perhaps rice as the third ingredient?

        • Here’s the recipe:

2 cloves of garlic - chopped or mashed
2 -3 tbs chopped ginger - peel off skin
          1 lb ground meat
          2 tsp sesame oil
Fresh green beans or string beans or frozen beans - 1 packet
          soy sauce
          YES - cooked white rice

Measurements are optional - it’s really up to you how strong you want this - the more garlic and ginger - the “stronger” the flavor becomes.

Saute garlic cloves; mix the ground beef until it is crumbly - you can take out the fat if you want.

          Sprinkle the chopped ginger.
Add soy sauce.  Add a bit of sesame oil.

When ground meat is cooked put on a separate dish.

Do the same again with the green beans.

Put about a cup of the cooked white rice; put the ground meat on top; place the green beans on the side.

There you go - cheap and good.  I’ll psot pics next time.
