“Hi Ladies!” I thought by now I would have gotten out and enjoyed this wonderful Saturday, but I’m doing just fine sitting at home. I’ve done some editing in my book and chatted with my sister inlaw who is getting married in July. I love the weekends, but I think this is going to be a stay home one for me.

How about you, what are you doin with your weekend?

        • Good to see you too this lovely Saturday!

I got off work at noon and went shopping.  Shopping like a GIRL, with NO MEN along.   Don’t get me wrong.  I love my guys, but sometimes a girl just wants to shop and browse and dither for 20 minutes over which earrings to buy.  And I did!!!!   Didn’t buy much other than a couple shirts for work (and earrings), but just enjoyed the alone time.

        • We went out for breakfast and dinner today, that’s really about all I can do at this point. Hubby is doing laundry while I fold. Tomorrow my sons coming to visit and cook dinner for us. I’m really beginning to go stir crazy , it’s been 3 weeks, and my next Dr appt is 5 weeks away. I will start using an ultrasonic bone stimulator this week to help the bones fuse together. If all looks good in 5 weeks, I can begin to put a little weight on it, if not,  wait a couple more weeks. It’s a wait and see thing. Full recovery can take a year or more.

        • Oh, that’s got to be so hard!!!  Inactivity wears on me faster than anything.  I can’t imagine how tough this has to be for you.
