      Hi!
I am a new member and wanted to see if there are any fans of The Grateful Dead, Bob Weir & Ratdog, Mickey Hart out there. Are you planning on seeing the Vibes tour?
We are going out to Boulder, CO (I’ve never been there!)by car and do have room for one more passenger.
Please share with me any show you’ve seen!
Do you also like Max Creek?
Looking forward to meeting all of you!
      Andrea of Western Massachusetts

        • I have enjoyed their music since I was in my twenties.  I have never been to a concert.  I used to work as a bartender back in 95 I think and several employees were road trippin’ to a concert!  I wanted to go but I didn’t.  They have a subculter that has always facinated me!  I have never had a chance to geet involved since that time.
Enjoy it Andrea!  It’s one of those events that if you pass it up today, you will ALWAYS wonder what it might have been............

        • I enjoyed their music, too, but the biggest thing I remember about the GD is the last concert they did in Pittsburgh, musta been about 1989-1990.  People, do I dare call 20-year olds hippies (I was in my 20s), were camped in the parking lot of the Civic Arena with their babies.

They looked gypsies (sorry for the negative cultural crack here but I don’t know what else to call them) traveling with the circus from town to town.  They left trash and soiled baby diapers everywhere.  It was a disgusting mess.

All I could think was those poor babies.
