I have netflix and watch Definitely, Maybe tonight. I loved it! It was so sweet, and the female characters were all very strong. Recent movies I watched and truly enjoyed are: Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, My Blueberry Nights (5+ stars - Norah Jones was awesome), and Smart People.

        • It has been a while for me & I saw The Bucket List.  It was really good.  Last movie I saw in the theater was “Mama Mia” which I loved.
It is dinner & a movie night with my girlfriends next Wednesday.  We are seeing “Nights in Rodanthe“.  My daughter said it is really good.

        • I really want to see My Blueberry Nights... I’m a huge Norah Jones fan already, and was so excited to read she was branching out in to acting.

        • This morning, I watched “The Other Boleyn Girl.”  It was a disappointment in the acting department, with the exception of Scarlett Johannson & Kristin Scott Thomas.  The hunky-and-a-half Eric Bana didn’t do much to keep me that interested, but it was obvious that he was playing Henry V111 as a king who ONLY thought with his...NON-brain!  He wasn’t the KINGLY-est of kings.  Why did they have to waste Bana on this drivel.

I don’t like Natalie Portman as a rule, so no BIG there. I LOVED the actress playing Catherine of Aragon, who allowed her king his discretions, but knew the deal & how to put those young “distractions” in their place.  She does have some wickedly FAAabulous lines!

        • The last movie I saw was Nights In Rodanthe. I HAD to see it after I vacationed there this summer.  Gotta say, there were alot of cute ‘boys’ there but I never found any man that looked like Richard Gere!!!!

The last DVD I rented was Annapolis because I met a guy in a bar last week that was an extra in the film.
Honestly, I fast forwarded thru the film til I found him (near the end). It would have been worth the rental fee if he had called me again...
The movie-a modern day take on Officer and a Gentleman- but again ladies..the lead actor (nor my bar ‘boy‘) was no Richard Gere!!!
