I found this basic recipe on the internet somewhere and I’ve made it several times.

2 ounces of pharmaceutical grade beeswax
      8 ounces of almond oil
a few drops of a pure essential oil for scent (optional)

In a double boiler, melt the beeswax into the almond oil.  When wax is completely melted, add essential oil, stir it and pour it into small jars with tight-fitting lids. Let cool completely before putting lids on jars.

I buy a block of beeswax from a local craft store then I melt it down and pour it into an ice cube tray. The sections of the tray hold one ounce so I end up with pieces of beeswax that are easy to measure out.

This works great on hands and feet or any dry skin. It is also good for removing eye make-up!
