Good Morning Ladies, well this is an off day for me and I dare NOT step outside this apartment, before I do some much needed cleaning. I have been so busy and just boggled down with things and work that I truly have overlooked this place and it shows ohhhhtongue out so today my goal is to clean from top to bottom and get rid of some stuff in the closets. I hope you all have a wonderful day and please share what plans you have for today!

        • happyhappy Good morning ladies!  It’s monday here too, as far as I know.

No major plans here.  Probably go have coffee with the village elders, and possibly some baking with my daughter.

Over the weekend I started putting the word out that I’m going to be available for doing painting.  Had some interest from a couple people.  We’ll see if it amounts to anything.

        • LOL...it’s Monday here as well...but I’ll still have a Holly Jolly Tuesday..estaticestatic

          I’m working today...(what’s new)...and it’s not busy...(THANK GOD)...we have added police security...(THANK GOD)....and I wish I were at home in my pj’s.  (oh well)

I have the heater going in my office....(IT FEELS WONDERFUL)....going to make some more coffee.....we are listening to some HOLIDAY JAZZ CD‘S..(that I love)...

and I’m praying that this old man doesn’t come in today looking for me.  He’s in his 80’s and is usually pretty tipsey...(and yes he is driving)...and I have to hide from him.  So far I’ve hidden behind the coin machine...in my car...in the back behind the locked door...under my desk..in someone else’s office...and in a closet.  estatic

        • Monday here.  I think Niecy was wishing it away for us.  I still have a bit of Christmas shopping to finish.  I am on break from school and have to say I am glad.  I do know that two of my classes I did get A’s in and am hoping that I have a B in my other class.  This going to college when you are older is not easy.  Its kind of funny being one of the oldest in the classes but I let the “kids” know that they need to get it now instead of waiting till they are older.  Hope everyone has a good day ahead.  And if you have some snow please send some to Chicago.  It just doesnt seem like Christmas without it.

        • No snow here either, but we‘re just delighted about that!  Nothing I love better than a brown Christmas.  We had shirtsleeve weather yesterday, which was awesome!

        • LOL!  Mary, if you get a white Christmas is will stay but moments.  If we get a white Christmas it stays for months.  Two years ago I’d have gladly shared some of the 3 feet of white crap we got on Christmas eve and Christmas day. estatic

        • That’s the thing...I only want it for a few days....not like y‘all get.  LOL...I can’t stand the stuff any longer than a couple of days.  After that it becomes a nuisance and a grand mess.

        • There is a reason I live in the south. I just do not think I could handle the cold cold weather and the snow as much as y‘all deal with it.  I like it for a while but by February I’ve had enough and I’m ready for spring....my favorite month of all.

        • I don’t mind the terrible cold weather, but I’m not a fan of snow.  I don’t want to drive on bad roads.  In fact one of the jobs I applied for involved a lot of travel within 150 miles of home.  I decided that meant driving too much in the winter and didn’t pursue it.
