When we experience difficult trials and tribulations, and times of suffering, we normally pray to God and ask Him for immediate relief.  However, as we all know, God answers prayer in His own time, so we may not receive immediate help from Him.  We may have to go through many days, or weeks, or months or years of trying times.  And after suffering awhile we start wondering why God hasn’t intervened.  We begin questioning ourselves. What have I done to deserve this and then we begin to question whether or not God even cares.  We feel as though God has abandoned us and that He is nowhere to be found.  We feel alone and isolated from God.

My friends, if we are faithful, God is walking right along with us especially during our times of suffering, even when we feel isolated from Him.  He has not abandoned us, for we are His children and He loves us and cares for us.  We must realize that He is watching over us and is doing what is best for us.   (1 Pet. 5:7) tells us to cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us.

Does this sound like a God who cares little about our problems?  When we suffer, we may feel isolated from God, but the reality is that God is with us step-by-step.

      Isn’t that encouraging News?

        • Thank you for this timely reminder as we get closer to my husband leaving for his new job (all the way across the country) with no nibbles on our house. I know that His timing is perfect, but it helps to be reminded. :)

        • Thank you, I’ve kept my faith for my husband has been thru many trials & tribulations the last few years with his job and I’ve been there with him side-by-side.  At times, I’ve had to remind him that God is with us and that we will get thru this tough time and maybe we can make some changes.
His work environment has been hostile since he filed a complaint regarding a young female employee and her behavior. The higher ups on the ladder didn’t like him making waves; especially since she’s the flavor of the year & years to come.
God has been there for us and I have to remind him of how/what/when/where. There have been some changes..I wish there could be more positives for changes for my husband.  We are holding on together. :)

        • Its odd but Ive since I was a very young child, felt close to God, Ive never felt abandoned by him, although I was physically alone, not spiritually.  God may not answer the way we want, or as fast as we desire, but he does answer.  Have Faith, as tiny as a mustard seed.. is absolutely correct.  Stay positive.  I have watched lost kittens play with no food or not knowing where the next meal will come... yet they play. (I rescue of course as cats find me)

We need to be like that.  Just know God is there and enjoy the world he has created, I think that is what he wants, us to believe and love him and have faith.  Like the lost little kittens.
