When I was in my 20’s I found a little food journal in my local book store. It was great. It had a place to record my food but also had helpful hints and encouraging quotes. It was a 30 day journal. I used them for about a year. It helped me to see where I was going wrong and where I was doing well.

Anyone else keep a food journal? How is it working for you?

        • I use the website - Fatsecret.com

They have a mobile app for my droid, called Calorie Counter.  It’s easy to log my food & exercise.  I can even scan barcodes on foods, they have restaurants menus, supermarket brands.  It’s really fun and easy!

        • Michelle I have a Droid phone and have the app Calorie counter but you can put Sparkpeople on there as well...does it all too.
But you do what works for you and what you like.  The bottom line is..that you do it.

Keeping a food journal has been proven that it helps you lose weight!  And to answer the question...I have kept a journal!
