      Hi there  estatic
      Ok, im just going to admit it, i dont work out at all, unless you count running after 2 little wild boys, and so on that note, im looking for a WII exercise program or dvd program in general that inspires me to get my booty in gear...
      Does anyone have a WII workout program they use and like for women that is good for the coordinatedly challenged???? (LOL)
      Im starting from ground zero :( but its never too late.

      ** I just want to tone up not lose weight, im just out of shape and i dont like aerobics.

        • Hello, I think there are many games on WII that will help you.  But the best and easiest way to tone is walking, I know it sounds funny but test after test has shown that walking on a regular basis 30 min a day makes a world of difference.  if you don’t have 30 min at a time then break  time up (10 morning, 10 lunch and 10 Diner) yes it can be that easy. also I heard on the Radio this morning that when you tighten your stomach muscles while you are house cleaning or walking is a easy way to tone also(this I am going to try).  Hang in there at our age we can do anything...

        • Yoga is fantastic exercise for toning up and there are some great DVD’s available.  I recommend Gentle Vinyasa Flow by Zyrka Landjwit for beginners (you can select 30 mins, 45 mins or 1 hour workouts).  For something more challenging Shiva Rea’s Yoga Shakti is one of the best yoga DVD’s available, IMO.  I love the beach scenery, and Shiva Rea is so inspiring!  I think there are yoga programs for Wii as well.

        • When you do Yoga, can that be considered a “CARDIO” workout????
          Because i do LOVE YOGA! did it years ago.. very good for stress.
