Higher Taxes Impact on Not For Profits

I was just thinking about this and wanted to share. Obama’s new programs to give money to certain groups while raising taxes on other groups to pay for it is really like mandatory charity (IMO).

I guess one of the things I am most frustrated about is my ability to decide where I want to donate my money.

It’s a shame because there are certain charities that are important to me and near and dear to my heart. Charities which I contribute to every year. If I will no longer have the money to contribute to these charities, and if I am just one of hundreds who will be in this situation, then these charities will struggle.

Who is to say that one hardship is more important than another or more worthy to receive funds...do you feel the same?
