My name is Marshele Carter Waddell. I am the mother of one of America’s newest Marines and the 24-year wife of a Navy SEAL. I want to introduce myself to you and let you know of the resources I have available.
First, I’m the author of Hope for the Home Front: Winning the Emotional and Spiritual Battles of a Military Wife and its companion work book. It was originally written for wives of warriors, however, it speaks to ANYONE with a heart for the military. You will laugh, cry, and identify with everything in the books.
I’m also the co-author of a new book, available in October, titled “When War Comes Home: Christ-centered Solutions for Wives of Combat Vets.” My husband fought in Kosovo as well as four times in Iraq and was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder in 2005. The book shares our journey as well as practical and biblical solutions for homes dealing with the aftermath of war.
My next project will be a book for parents of warriors. So, contact me, and introduce yourselves.
Visit my website: www.hopeforthehomefront.com and contact me if I can help in any way. I’ll look forward to hearing from you.
