One of the most common ways to liven up your living space is to decorate with house plants. There are so many different types of house plants available that you are sure to find one to fit your needs.

House plants have many uses. Plants can be used to add color and vibrance to your home and herbs can be used for both aesthetic purposes as well as cooking. Another great thing about house plants is that many of them are very easy to grow and require little care and maintenance. Ivy, philodendrons, and shamrocks are all extremely easy to grow and make lovely additions to homes.

Tropical plants can also give your home a much needed sense of diversity. Palms and orchids can transform your home into the lovely little beach cottage you’ve always dreamed of. Ficus trees always make good house plants as well.

Herbs such as rosemary, thyme, oregano, parsley, mint, and chives are great plants to have in your home, especially if you like to cook. Household plants can also be useful in other ways. Aloe is a great plant to include in your home and can be used for various things such as burns, cuts, and irritations.
