We had a nice Holiday Season, after my son went  through a difficult period he seemed to calm down quite a bit during the festivities, which he does love.

Christmas this year was a rather busy one for us, and Corbin just went with the flow. Just when you think - oh boy, this is not going to be easy - he comes through and starts smiling again!

My daughter’s boyfriend stayed with for three days right before Christmas, and Corbin liked having another guy around besides dad.  It’s hard to explain because it’s not something other people might notice, but I can tell a difference in my son.  He’s more at ease.  Curious about what we are doing, if not terribly interactive.

My beautiful mom, now 89, felt well enough to join us for Christmas dinner and that was a great blessing.  It was lovely family gathering, with a huge roast beef (OK I got a bit carried away at the butcher and ending up with some leftovers in the freezer!) and all the trimmings.

Homemade cookies and goodies were almost everywhere you looked in my house....and with a new addition to the family running around - an 8-week old Yorkie - it was just one of those times to relax and savor the moment.

Dealing with the meltdowns and OCD issues seemed to just fade away.  It was truly a Holiday to remember.
