We often ask others to pray for us and I believe that there is nothing wrong with asking others to pray for you, but we must remember that we have to lead that prayer because we know in detail just what we want God to grant us.
When you ask others to pray for you remember to tell them what your request is so at least when they pray on your behalf they will ask God to grant you your prayer according to His will.
