I have been looking for awhile now and still no call backs.  I guess raising kids for the last 6 years has made me unemployable.

        • I am so totally sick and tired of looking for work I almost want to cry. I have gone thru all those stupid emotions and it is making me tired. I too feel like being layed off was some how my fault, no one wants to hire me...NO ONE calls Back either. Why should they they have pick of cream of the crop. I was called (I lied). I almost wet myself. Got ready went there. no parking anywhere, walked 3 blocks and when I entered there was, I am not kidding 50 other people there for the same interview. Talk about depressed. BUT I REFUSE TO QUIT!!!!!!!!! I WILL FIND A JOB!!!!!

        • When you interview and they bring up you’ve been out of the workforce for 6 years raising kids, be sure to tell them how much “time management, organizational skills, etc. is involved and that you can be a great asset to their company“.  Good luck!

        • i wish us all the best. I find it sad that no one values how labor intensive childrearing is. I know I could not do it. I know people think praying is silly, but I am praying everyday.
