Aren't you tired of getting a little bit here and a little bit there? Aren't you tired of experiencing a little bit of what God has for you? Maybe you have experienced some partial victory in certain areas of your life. You have been delivered from one thing, but not the other. You have started some things, but they are moving slow and accomplishing little. You have been waiting for some breakthroughs, but you are only getting peek-a-boos. What's the problem? Don’t you want it all?

      2 Kings 13:14-19
The prophet Elisha had told the king of Israel to get a bow and some arrows. He then told him to open the window eastward and shoot, and the king did as he was told. Elisha then said, 'the arrow of the Lord's deliverance...' Elisha told the king that he would have victory over the Syrians, and that he would totally consume (destroy) them. So the king is instructed to take the arrows and strike the ground. The king took the arrows and hit the ground 3 times and then he stopped. Elisha was angry and said, "You should have struck the ground 5 or 6 times, then you would have defeated the Syrians and completely destroyed them; but now you will only defeat it 3 times."

If Elisha had just kept striking the ground; if he hadn't quit too soon; if he hadn't given too little, then he would have had total victory, instead of partial victory!

What's the point? We need to give 100% if we want all that God has for us. We can't be half-hearted, doing the minimum, being half-committed. When we are instructed by God, to do something; if we want total victory, then we have to give everything we have. We have to be willing to keep going until He says stop; keep fighting until we win; keep praying until something happens; keep pressing until we make it.

When God says to give up something, don't give up part of it, give up all of it. When God tells you to get away from someone, don't go next door, go far away. When God tells you to move forward and step up, don't half-step, do all that you can, with everything that you have.

If you are tired of having partial victory; getting a little bit of what you need; doing a little of what you were called to do; being delivered, but continuing to fall back...if you're tired of only experiencing part of God's promises and a bit of His blessings...then give Him your all; stop short changing God.  Don't give a little, give it all. Don't quit too soon; endure until the end.

"The man of God was angry with him and said, 'you should have struck the ground five or six times; then you would have defeated Aram and completely destroyed it. But now you will defeat it only three times." 2 Kings 13:19 NIV

      Don't you want it all?
