If someone told you that you could “have it all” right now, a new life and outlook just for the asking and they’d make it happen in an instant....what would you ask for?

        • I’m not sure I could even envision what “having it all” would look like.

I guess part of having it all would include having both of my teenagers live with me, and having a house big enough for them.

        • For me “having it all” would include having 1 or 2 children, a happy marriage, a nice house outside of the city, dogs & cats and good health. I really just long for a real family.

        • Hi Luanne,

Welcome to Fab 40. I hope your wish for a real family is in your future. Keep in mind you can adopt older children that need a home and you can be single to do it. I hope you find help with your health and find a way to afford it in this day and time.

          Wishing you all the best!

          Cathie

        • I would ask to make me and my family free of all sickness and disease, I would want to be wealthy enough to never have to work nor worry about bills ever in life, I’d like to have a nice size home fully furnished with servants to help assist me in cleaning and the up keep. And to be able to travel all of the world in my own private jet and see to it that my children never want for anything.

        • heart Having it all? Hmmmm I don’t think that’s even possible? Plus if it is how boring my life would be nothing to expire for or to be.
I would never want to feel I have it all I want dreams and to work towards them so if I may I’m going to change it to what dream would you choose to make happen right now at least for me it would be to see , enjoy and feel Christmas this year in big bear as a white family Christmas
I know this doesn’t really answer your original question and I’m sry for being cheeky and changing it. It’s the only way I could answer.

Thank you for the reminder that having it all as each sees it for themselfs could mean you lost it all because you have nothing to strive for.

        • It really depends on what “having it all” means.  It could mean one thing to one person and something else to another...as it’s already been demonstrated in the responses so far.

Having it all for me would be to be debt free (and I’m working hard on that)...be able to travel, play, and work that dream job mentioned in another thread...and to help others who are in need.  But in reality I already have it all...compared to so many other people.

I think if we had it all life would be boring.  I think to feel productive as people we need something to work for or work towards.

I would like health for me, my son and family, writing and selling books, a car that is brand new, money enough so I could donate to a charity, NO DEBT!

And lot’s of flowers and plants!

        • Mmmmmm.....have it all? For all my blessings I am very appreciative.  To have every family member and myself to live in divine health and continue to be a blessing in the lives of others is having it all.

        • No debt, a house paid for, good health and understanding for me and my children, education and a good job.

Being a mother of a child with special needs the understanding is real important for me.  My daughter looks like every other normal child out there and seems pretty normal when others speak to her briefly but if you get into a in depth conversation with her that is when you notice the differences.  She has Asperger’s syndrome.  Its been a challenging road for her and I.  So understanding about children with special needs is very important.
