With my son which I left a topic about him not to long ago, here and gave you an idea of what I have been dealing with, well in the turn of events in my life and his I pretty much have a year left to try and get him home... Well the bottom has fallen out of this whole idea I have been told no matter what I do at this point it will not be enough to bring him home, I know this is not any of yours to deal with but I just can’t give up or give in until the last. I don’t have any real support here, my attorney isn’t worth a pound of salt. I don’t have the money to get another one and the court appointed’s aren’t any great help either. I just can’t wrap myself around any of this everyone else in his life has abandoned him father etc... other then his siblings and myself we are all he has... I have not told any of them this, yet especially his 6 yr old brother who adores him... There are not enough words in the dictionary right now to discribe this except ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
I just wish I knew who to go to that could help...

        • He’s 10 for the most part he is doing really well, but his out burst, and tendency to be violent is what is keeping him in placement, all of his case workers don’t know him well enough, except what the Cats Test and observation tell them, I know all he wants to do is come home and I don’t disagree with that at all, I have not had a chance in 5 years to even try to see if it could work. I am not saying that he would not be a handful I just want a chance to see if it could work... So I just keep doing the visits and the phone calls the holidays and B‘days just as if nothing has changed... All either one of us wants is a chance to make it work....

        • Good morning. I’m sorry, I don’t remember the details at the moment~ haven’t had enough coffee yet. What is the actual diagnosis again?
