we all as older adults have wondered what is going on with the kids today? With all the technology they are locked in... With the why’s needing to be answered and the expectations from us as adults higher than any generation before.
Sometimes wondering where simple acts of kindness have gone... Well they are here. I witnessed a bunch of junior high looking kids , a group mixed of boys and girls, both showing off to each other you know girls giggling and being loud and boys being manly lol... Ok off track sorry.
Anyway they were out side Burger King and there was this women homeless , and one of the boys found a ten ( found out later the amount from cashier) well instead of keeping it as alot of young would he walked up and gave it to the women. She went straight in and ate after thanking and thanking this young man.
I was so shocked when cashier told me the amount he gave the lady and then it really lite up my day... For until then it wasn’t so hot.
Well one good deed deserves another so I bought a 25.00 gift card and gave it to the young man for him and his friends to go eat too.
That was the best random act of kindness I’ve witnessed in awhile. And I just wanted to share it with you.
So next time I see roudy teens I’ll have alittle more patience... At least for a little while lol

Eva , now that is a truely inspiring story and a huge act of kindness and compassion. That should just open our eyes to the fact that kindness and inspiration really do come from unexpected people and places. I really loved that story. Thank you for telling it.
it was my lucky day to have seen that. It really does make you see alot of hope for ourselfs as parents lol and our future world.... ( sometimes ... Still alittle scared cheeky moment )

Eva, I bet you have a load of stories as a teacher. Children have the nac of seeing the world as simplely as it can be. That’s why as adults we must allow them the childhood. Don’t rush the beauty that they MUST have. It refreshes us adults and there is so much time for them to be adults but first they must be a child.
So, to see the empathy for someone that had nothing but gratitude really is the best gift in refreshing your soul.
