Dreams have always fascinated me..I could never figure out what made me dream Good ones or Nightmares..In the course I am involved in, Interpreting Dreams is one of the topics..Goodie =)

Analyzing your dreams is a fascinating process that can reveal much about your thoughts, feelings and relationship with the outside world. Dreams are a reflection of our lives and our experiences. Dreams present us with images and feelings about what has been, what will be, and what could be... Our Interior and exterior world Co-exist, our dreams revolve around our desires and aspirations...When we dream we are in part finding answers and solutions to the problems that have carried over from our walking life into our sleep..Sometimes we get lucky and get a small glimpse of the future..And what lies beyond the horizon...Our dreams are colorful, informative far-fetched and sometimes ludicrous. Dreams are our fundamental and personal, internal dialogue. Understanding our dreams becomes a useful if not invaluable, source of inspiration, guidance and counsel. Providing us with insight into our lives and relationships... Once we have learned to understand and analyze our dreams you can gain a greater awareness of our selves, the world and our place in it...

There are 6 different things to look for.. (1) RECOGNIZE CAUSES = Like dreaming of being cold because your covers drop off. (2) IDENTIFY MOTIVES = learn about others and their true motives toward you through your dreams. To deal with them better in real life. (3)  REALITY OR METAPHOR = Learn to recognize the difference between literal symbols and metaphorical dream. Our dreams may not have the most obvious meanings. (4) CONTROL AND CHANGE = Learn to control and change the outcome of our dreams. This will give us greater understanding and control of situations in our waking lives. (5) DEVELOP CREATIVITY = Use our dreams to exercise our creative and imaginative prowess. (6) IMPROVE YOURSELVES = Recognize our short comings and strengthen them.

        • Some dream symbols and themes are common across the world This is a basic guide to what common themes mean but, remember every dream is unique and personal to the dreamer...

        • I like dreaming and I like my dreams.  Every morning, I try to remember my dreams and if it does not come right away, it usually pops up at later time.
I have logged down my dreams and I agree totally, it reveals many thing.
And guess what my recent dream was?

        • Yes I will both check back and keep writing the journal.  Last month I kept dreaming this CEO for no reason (not directly linked to me at all, like my boss’ boss’ boss) and later, I found that he was dismissed unexpectedly.  How strong.  My boss said to me, “Next time you dream about me, please let me know right away!” How funny.
I look forward learning more about this after your digestion for me!  Okay?  xoxo

        • I rarely remember my dreams:(  I wish I could.  I do remember a few dreams.  One was with Nicholas Cage...I don’t find him especially appealing...but he was in this dream!! I had to wake my husband up after that one.  We laugh about that every once in a while.  There are a few recurrent dreams from my childhood and a feeling of desavue (can’t spell that word-like being in a place before).  I am interested in dream analysis.  I will love to read your posts!

Dennie.. Get that been there did that before feeling as well...I also have some of the same dreams as a child..But all my life I have had nightmares ...Horrible ones..When I was in my 20's I started having Night Terrors...I would wake up soaked in sweat and sometimes screaming..other times crying and sobbing....I had to take a very strong drug so I would skip my rim sleep and go right to deep sleep..Rim sleep is where we dream..I will be posting more on the topic today.. Thanks for reading..And come join the group..

        • I’m gonna look through some old journals i have and see if i can find any of the stuff i wrote from then. It was back in my early 20’s. I will see if i even still have them. But, being the pack rat i am i am sure i do.

I do remember the bit about, anytime you awaken during the night and/or first thing in the morning, or whenever you get up to write down what you can remember. And write it out how you remember it. Many time my dreams fly from one place to another and i get lost. lol
