    • Tonight I watched the Roast of Joan Rivers on comedy central hosted by Kathy Griffin. It was too funny and sooo truthful at times.  Why was it necessary to do that to her face? Personally I never thought she was all that pretty, however, she looked much better before IMHO. She now looks shiny, puffy and a little scary.

Did she get a boob job too?  I guess she had everything nipped or tucked.

        • Honey Joan has been very frank about her surgery I think she has had everything done from her toes to the top of her head – they say after a while you get such body dysmorphic that you just see complete imperfection everywhere and the slightest wrinkle or lump its off to the surgeon for it to be removed ...
Some plastic surgery can enhance and yes for people who have real problems but Joan she is now a joke ....... I joke I would love an overhaul but in reality I don't think I have the nerve to be pulled and tucked and stapled to then look strange – we should in most cases grow old gracefully .....

        • I can barely stand to look at Joan.... it’s painful! Your right she never was an attractive woman but now she’s worse.
If I was going to get anything done it would be a tummy tuck (2 c-sections) and a breast lift. Otherwise I’m ok with how I look. I have a few fine lines but I think they add character. It shows I lived!

That I don't get.  Especially when I see fairly young women who have had SEVERAL boob jobs.  I'm always thinking "where do they get all this money for these surgeries???".  The only thing I've ever had is botox twice and I absolutely LOVED the results.  It's just too expensive and only last's a few months.

        • I’m with Virginia and Termagesa, a tummy tuck, and a breast lift if possible. Not the face.

        • Frankly, I wouldn’t mind some Botox, but that is an expensive habit!  Also, just for your own information, any type of “makeover” - even tweezing your eyebrows! - is against Islam, in that you are changing what God has done.

        • I found this in todays paper and wanted to share with you the extreme plastic surgery..

£200,000 and 51 operations turn a mother of three into Queen Nefertiti

Her transformation began more than 20 years ago after she decided that in a past life she had lived as Queen Nefertiti.
During that time Nileen Namita has spent £200,000 on her face in order to turn herself into a living sculpture of the ancient Egyptian.
The mother of three has had 51 cosmetic surgery operations - including eight nose jobs, three chin implants, one eyebrow lift, three facelifts, six mini facelifts, two lip surgeries, five eye surgeries and 20 minor tweaks - in her efforts to recreate herself in the image of the ‘Beauty of the Nile‘.

          Read more: [Link Removed]

This is her now after the surgery ........

This is her at 22 before the surgery ....

Now is it me or does she look like a freak ?

        • Not only does she look unnatural, she doesn’t really resemble the bust of Nefertiti that one of her photos is attempting to mimic. The nose and lips are completely wrong, and her eyes are so out of whack now they’ll never look normal again.

What about good ol’ Jocelyn ‘Cat Lady’ Wildenstein? I’ll never understand how she could go from the cute, pert gal she was before to this monstrosity:

        • Why, why, why didn’t someone in their lives just tell them how beautiful they were before they went under the knife so many times?  To me these ladies were (are) very insure women and felt like the only control they had over their lives was when they went under the knife & changed their looks.

        • I wonder what they would say to one another? I mean they both ended up looking the same kind of freaky.
Would they say I like that- you look great or would they be like girl- you look freaky?
Then the other one would be like MEEE? You are the one that looks freaky!

I had a boob job. I wanted a tummy tuck (ever since my c-section) But hubby only went for the boob job.
I dont know why I went through with it from the beginning. But in hind sight I would have paid twice the amount.  The confidence and playfulness and everything it was one of the best things I ever did. Going from a couple of v looking boobies to a nice full round breast made me feel better. More confident and powerful.
