...or are you just talking about it?

I talked about it for years before I really did anything for real. This is the first time in a long time that I am seriously trying to lose weight and it is working!

I’m so happy about our Fabbers Against Flab team on sparkpeople! I can see that those of us who are actively participating are in fact losing the weight!

      Join us!

...and if you are already there, participate! It works.

        • Hi Annie,

          I’m excited for you! ;o)

I was scared to lose the weight the MCS packed on me in defense of the toxic chemicals.
The fat encased as many toxins as possible to protect life. But then I got scared the fat
was a new danger and setting me up for risk of heart attack or stroke.

I lost weight slowly to deal with the toxins being released when the fat melted off, and I
have to say I'm really jazzed, like you.

I breathe better and have more stamina now.

          Cathie

        • I’m right there with you, I’ve been bad and not logging in my food intake, but I have been sticking to my cut down portions and walking 4 to 8 miles a day.

        • Sparkpeople is really a great place with tons of info and resources to help reach your goal.....no matter what your health goal is.
I have discovered some good bads and uglies just by tracking my food and fitness.

        • I forgot to mention that if you have an iphone or touch ipod you can track your stuff on there. Also you can get to sparkpeople easy enough if you have a phone that has a web browser on it.
Track your water, food and fitness for a month then decide.

        • I hear ya on the the “lose and find” weight.  My sister had been running on that
wheel just about forever. She still uses the “diet” word. I am a literal type and I
know it means what we eat, not a weight loss method. ;o)
