Goooooooooood Morning Ladies, I hope everyone is getting off to a great start with their holiday plans for the day. “Happy Independence Day” to all. I plan on taking the grand baby back to the pool today seeing it will be in the 90’s, maybe we can get my hubby to join us, then later I plan on going to church with my oldest daughter to visit her best friend who is in ministry. So ladies what’s on your holiday agenda’s for today?

        • Good morning.

I slept in this morning after a very LOOOONG day yesterday.  Had a great day but it was very hot and tiring.  Finally cooled off last night with a big thunderstorm that gave us an inch of rain in half an hour.

Today, just hanging out at home.  DD is here and maybe she’ll even be out of bed by noon.  Hoping the rrst of the kids will come for lunch or supper.

Hubby and I will be going to his mother’s house tomorrow for dinner they don’t celebrate holiday’s but do things after the fact, go figure but anyhow it is a lazy day for me today, have to work in the morning and 3am comes too fast. Enjoy your day ladies.

        • Good morning ladies.  The girls are begging to go see the fireworks shows so I guess we will do that today.  Not really planned on doing much.  Yesterday my oldest daughter and I made a mexican dish and ate like a bunch of pigs.  Her friends mother made the sauce that went with the dish so it was unbeleivably good.  Today just might be simple burgers on the grill.

        • heart The 4th is always an amazing day to me. We take alittle more time to plan a family and friend get together or maybe an extra date night with hubby, romantic time under the fireworks! Its like a gift, no presents to buy(unless B-day or anniversary. Lol ) just an extra day we plan and spend with people we care about. And unless your planning a huge party, it’s a day we give ourselves permission to relax and enjoy! So,enjoy ladies. Have a glass of wine(if u choose) and smile at a gift.

        • Good afternoon! It’s already 95 degrees out, I’ve had my second cup of coffee, a/c on low cool, Doctor Who on the TV and I’m doing what I call S, S & R (Stretch, Scratch & Rollover). Only thing planned is to catch up on some of my writing, perhaps dig in some of the heaps of craziness in the living room. Too hot for outdoor plans, so it’s a nice comfortable day inside.

          Enjoy your day, ladies!

        • Hello all well my hubby and the grand baby got out today for a mid-day dip in the pool and it felt wonderful. We will dine on deli sandwiches, chips and salad for our meal today too hot to cook or grill. I May even get back into the pool later if I don’t make the church services this evening.

        • What great pix Neicy!  And what a blessed grandbaby to have you and your hubby to love.  We went to early Mass this am and then home for breakfast.  Into town, about a 25 minute drive, for the parade.  It is partly cloudy here and not too warm.  It is a little after 3 pm and it has warmed up to 64 deg. F.  The hummingbirds are back from their nesting season and are swarming the feeders.  My hubby is snoozing on the couch and when he wakes up, we are going to the neighbors for a potluck bbq.  Been a good day, so far.  Best wishes to you all for the weekend!
