It's About Time!

Here it was Friday at work I walk out the Memory Care Unit to go to fax some paper work and who do I see? The State rep for the facility I work at, I was so surprised to see her, not knowing why she was there, but I was wondering why and who was she there to see? So I spoke and kept it moving ok so in the back of my mind I was wondering if it was for the allegations of abuse reported by a med-tech on a resident on her unit, but as it turned out she was there for the nurse.

It was about damn time! She is so messy when it comes to doing her job and being efficient at it, well it was said that she had a resident on two heart medications, apparently the doctor changed the order of the meds and she the nurse never dc‘ed the old order so this poor woman was getting two kinds of meds which was causing her more problems which is a serious med error. LOL soooooo I wonder how corporate is going to look at this as an eye sore on her part lol. And to think I had been catching all of her errors for the longest time and bringing them to her attention before it got to the state.

I’m not one to want to see bad happen to others nor do I like to see others get into trouble, but when you walk around thinking your sh** don’t stink and try to look down on others sticking your chest out becaude of your title, you reap what you sow and what goes around comes back around. So in this situation it couldn’t be hidden it had to be reported because of the woman’s health condition, and the records showing that the two meds were being administered. So now I’m just waiting to see what is going to be said tomorrow when I return to work, I can for one say that she is going to come to me, and ask me to make sure all the MAR’s are in line with the med’s which is something I do automatically lol. I have been covering her a** for along time so instead of saying that to me she’d better check herself, because just like this incident wasn’t found by me, it may happen again and she’ll get reported again and the next time her license will be revoked, or better yet she’ll get fired lol.
