        • Happy Thanksgiving!

I am at home enjoying my coffee for the moment. Since my sister has been staying with us she is going to be doing all the cooking estatic. Of course I have to do all the cleaning tongue out on a full tummy.

Of course we will have football on. And of course conversation will revolve around how the Lions are performing against Green Bay. And why in a town full of awesome talent they would go out of the country for musical talent for the halftime show.

We are eating fairly early....3ish..... so we can eat leftovers later estaticestaticestaticestaticestatic

          Have a THANKFUL day!

        • Happy Thanksgiving, Vikki and Neicy!  Enjoy your dinner, football and leftovers

It’s noon in Hawaii right now. The turkey has been in the oven for a couple of hours, I just took a pumpkin pie out of the oven and Joe made his “famous” rice a roni, cheese whiz and broccoli casserole. Strange I know but it’s really good. I’m about to boil some potatoes to mash and will make a gravy with the drippings from the turkey. It’s just the two of us tonight so there will be leftovers galore!

        • Hello Ladies,

Happy Thanksgiving to all!  We went out to eat to a buffet restaurant and the food was really really DELICIOUS!!  Later we went for a walk around the lake.  I’m still kinda of full from eating so much (normally I don’t eat that much).  I might not even have dinner.  Just too stuffed!

It has been a quiet one for us but all in all, very enjoyable.  I know my hubby has been feeling down because of his troubles with his mother but I think he had a good time too.

          Diane

        • Hi Ladies,

Glad to hear everyone had a great day.  Hub and I had a quiet one which was fine with me.  I did so much leaf clean-up outside, cutting shrubs, etc..to get ready for Christmas decorating which will only be in the yard.

          Enjoy your weekend!

          heart
