This morning as usual I’m enjoying my coffee while writing to you my special friends. I’m in somewhat of a state of dread do to the fact I’m going to the Neuro Surgeons Office this morning for a consult concerning a problem I’m having with nerve damage in my leg from a back injury. I I back surgery just 2 years ago and I’m afraid I’ll have to go under the knife again to correct this problem I’m now having...Oh well, we all do what we have to do right?
After my apppt. I’m going to heah over to this  store off the Mall “Anthropology” to pick my Mom up a gift (necklace) to take to Florida with me on Saturday. Anthropology has THE most beautiful costume pieces of Jewelry I’ve seen in a very long time. Then I plan on heading home to give some much needed attention to my house and laundry situation and I’m sure I’ll sit down to journal a while. I definitely need to pull out my suitcase and get cracking on the packing...Oh that rhymes, LOL...You, my SWEET friends Have a WONDER-FILLED Wednesday and don’t forget to take some time out just for YOU!!!

      Your Friend  happy
      Angela

        • Hi Angela,

Good Morning to you as well. I will keep you in my prayers as you head into the Drs. I have a friend who has had multiply back surgeries (5) so I understand your dread. Enjoy your shopping and have fun while you look for a piece for your mom.
When you say journal, do you mean in an actual book or online? I have a gratitude journal I have been doing for awhile and more recently a food journal (yuck). I feel like I have books taking over my life. Which is why I bought my Kindle. Now I need (need is such a strong word) to find a lovely tote to carry them all. Hmmmmmm......maybe that will be my plan for the day!
          Many Blessings Friends!

        • Good morning all,
Shopgirl hope your doctor visit goes well.

I’ve already gone to dermatologist today. Usual burn some lesions and a biopsy.  He didn’t seem to concerned, so I won’t be.  Will let me know in a week or so.  That’s good.

Another doctor visit in an hour.

Then to a special needs medical supply; looking for a liquid supplement.

On to find liquid iron vitamins, can’t use tablets or capsules anymore.

Homeward bound, maybe get in some laundry and cleaning.

Look forward to my guys coming home from work and school.

Hope ya’ll all have a wonderful day.  It’s 70 a little humid;not bad yet, but beautiful outside in beautiful southwest Louisiana!  estatic

        • Morning Shopgirl et al!

Thoughts and prayers for you at the docs office today for all to be good for you. Love Anthropology too, but can’t visit there too often, for my pocketbook’s sake :)

Going to work again as usual, yesterday’s reorg meeting was postponed til Thursday. Today at lunch I’m going to head down to the beach with my baglunch of fruit & FUZE white tea and do a little beachwalk with my BFF (who just left her husband after finding out he’s been having an affair for the last 8 months, but don’t get me started!). Anyway, I’m making her leave work for lunch at least once a week for our “walk and vent” beach time.

After work going shopping, probably at Babies R Us, for a baby shower gift for my niece and welcome back goodies for my twin grandbabies & daughter who will be coming back this weekend to stay with me for a short while before heading back to Korea where my daughter’s hubby is stationed. They’ve been in Wichita visiting the in-laws, the other grandparents.

Have an awesome day ladies! I plan to, I’m going to work hard at my personal goals for the day, cross my fingers I’m successful today!

        • Good morning all!  Hope everyone’s doctor appointment’s go well.

I’m home today.  No work again today. frown

I’m doing a little cleaning, a little laundry, a little gardening, a little knitting, a little baking.  Really, not a whole lot going on.

On the menu today, Red Velvet Cake.  For some reason, I’ve never made one before.  If I want to be a baker/cake decorator, I guess I should be able to turn out a perfect one if someone orders it.  So, today is a little practice cake.

I’ve had my morning walk to the post office, got sheets washed, and killed some weeds in the driveway.

I’d love to run to town this afternoon to get some potting soil for my planters, but that’s a seventy mile round trip, so I probably won’t waste the gas.

        • Shopgirl: I too have some nerve damage on my leg due to back surgery, what is so strange is the damage was done on left side and now half of my right leg is completely numb(no feeling what so ever). My surgery was done back in 2001 and for the drs taking so long to do the surgery, I ended up with nerve damage too.. They want me to have another surgery as well, but they can’t guarantee it would make a differences..So now I’m taking it day by day..I will have you in my thoughts and prayers..GOOD LUCK..
