What continues to circle and make the loop again through my mind and spirit from week one is this from The Message:

Under pressure your faith life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely.

Of course, if my first priority, my greatest desire,  what I am most committed to is to achieve the closest walk with him, if what I want is to be the most effective warrior princess for Him I am able then I would view each of the trials of my life as another boot camp training for Him.

As the body builder welcomes another 20 pounds of weight, as the hunter delights in jungles not hunted before- I would see each inconvenience and each heart ache as strength training.  Painful and promising.

What do I receive when I am committed first to my comfort, my status quo, the screen play I had written for my very, very important life?
Still painful.  Not promising.  Empty of purpose.
