Happy Friday. I had a great week. My parents came to visit for the week. It was great to see them again.
I’m hoping that the sun comes out and I want to take a half day off and go the beach with hubby and the kids.

What’s the plan for the weekend?
My hubz has to work Sunday but there’s a park here called Mud Island and they have festivities tomorrow. So we will be hanging out there.
Just had a long lunch at the Wolsley in Piccadilly London ? sat next to one of the stars from Love Actually movie Bill Nighy and on the other side the ex chairman of the BBC ??had a few glasses of champagne and it's now 6.30pm here so officially the weekend ?.. it's humid and warm but its been a great week ladies.
I should imagine I'll be here alone all weekend while you BBQ and firework the neighbourhood for 4th of July celebrations ??

That sounds like alot of fun Vikki. I really have no idea what I will be doing. The kids are with thier father for the weekend and have just left. I will be heading to Wood’s place so I will see what he has in mind.
I may be experiencing some technical difficulties so if I disappear....
Like I said earlier I had a great week with my parents. My father made my daughter very happy and gave her some money that he had put away for her for college. He made me happy cause that is one less thing I have to worry about. They got to meet Wood and said that they liked him and think that he is great.
Well Renee if Wood doesn’t come up with anything good you can hang with me on Sunday!
The closest I ever got to a star was Nicolas Cage before he was real famous in New Orleans. I bump into his table at a restant and said I was sorry. It wasn’t till I was back at my table that someone told me who he was.
So this is for an hour of appreciation for positive? Well I love my life (even my midlife belly and gray hair) and am enjoying every minute!
Lets see.... Chris Isaac, Tony Curtiss, Brigette Neilson, Mike Tyson..... guess where I was when I was less than 2 feet from them?
I was at a restaurant in LA and bumped into Bred Pitt, practically stuck my face in his open shirt (he is very tall) didn’t know it was him until my girlfriend started to hyperventilate.
I won’t include the various sports celebs I have came into contact with in Detroit.... they don’t count unless your into sports.
I was never crazy about celebrities, maybe because I grew up in LA, or maybe because I can never recognize anyone
until some one points them out.
Took a kick boxing class with Brooke Shields, stood next to her for an hour, had no clue...

Growing up in tarzana i went to school with many stars kids. James Caan drove me home once, went to penny marshalls house, was pretty cool i guess. For me they were just people. I was young though. lol my mom was excited about james caan i tell you!! lol
