      Kid’s Week, Pt. 1

Prov. 22:6 ΒΆ Teach your children to choose the right path, and when they are
older, they will remain upon it.

Whether you have kids or just like kids, we have a responsibility to them.
It’s our job to train them up in the way that they should go. It’s our job
to give them understanding and knowledge. But the most important job we
have is a preventive one. It’s our job to not offend them! Jesus was
serious when he spoke about offending little ones. Children are the product
of their parents, environment, and upbringing. They are open vessels waiting to
be poured into. We can pour blessings or curses into them. This is why, we
must act as a tool that God may use to get what he wants out of this next
      generation. It’s up to us!

This week, we will deal with some ways to keep our kids
growing in the grace of God and helping them become
what they should be. We will deal with most of it from a preventive
standpoint! As i travel the country, i speak to thousands of youth each
year. But the real part is when i get to talk to the parents. I will not do
a youth service without the parents included because the parents and adults
have the responsibility of carrying out the orders of God for the youth. So,
this week, you will get some info that will help you deal with this new
generation. I call them generation EX! Just like the EX in our ministry. It
means that they are not what the curse said they would be (X). But God is making
them EX what they were. (ex gang member, ex-drug user, etc)
