Well, since getting off the meds, I’ve had to learn to live with my pain. It’s been interesting, to say the least.  I have moments where I can’t believe I can do some, but do it. And other times, where I can’t believe I CAN‘T do something that I think I should.’s been a roller coaster.

I went to a new Doctor, only to be disappointed yet again. He barely even looked at my history. I have been sadly mistaken into thinking all Doctors have my best interests in mind when talking to me.  Most are bored, hurried, and basically thinking about the next patient.  I’ve gotten a bit hard about the majority of them.  That said, I can still love the Doctors that I do have, and that they are looking at my best interest.

I am walking now. This was not easy. I needed motivation, not just the energy.  If I was sore, I  just gave up. But now I try and walk through the pain.  I’ve lost weight too. Not much, but some. I’m eating better and my sugar intake has dropped significantly as well.

I joined the gym too.  I’ve gone to a few water fitness classes, swim, and now do the machines in the cardio room. That is very hard, but I try. Like my husband says...“I’m on a mission“.  My mission is to be pain-free.  I know I can do it, I just need to stick with it.
