I accomplished a lot today, which is always a plus. The weather was slightly humid this morning and I took advantage of doing things outside.

The weeks are going way too fast! Lots of things to do in one more month of vacation. The kids I run into at the stores are actually bored now and can’t wait for school to start.

I bought my books this morning. I saved $200 by getting there early and buying what few used nursing textbook they had. Most of the nursing students keep their books so finding anything used at all is just plain good luck!
I picked some avocados and brought them to a woman who works in the mail room at the college. I made a big bowl of guacamole for Joe and I. Now I’m just waiting for him to come home for lunch.
Today HAS been a pretty darn good Monday. I didn’t have to work with my little sidekick today which was a relief. Went out for lunch with a co-worker. Bought flowers for my neighbor lady’s birthday, she’s 88 today. I still have to take them over to her. So pretty, wish I’d bought myself some.
