Ladies, Did you find your lives more or less exciting/interesting after you turned 40? In what ways?

        • Things are complex and seasonal, but overall 40+ has been exciting. Right now it’s feeling like dump city, lack of funds keep me in the house or just around the neighborhood. The price of gasoline also helps me stay in the boundaries of my city. It is my hope that this season will bring about a change sooner than later.

        • My life is still full of fun and energy. Life is what you make it regardless of how our biological clocks may tick and how our old bodies may try to make us feel or how our bodies may look!, we can still rise above anything its all in the individuals mindset.happy

        • I’ve found life after 40 to be great!  I remarried a wonderful man and travel a lot which is awesome.  We travel on our bike.  I never thought at this age I’d be travelling across country on a Harley!  Now, it’s pretty much the only way I like to go.  Plus I don’t feel 48 at all.  I’m much more happy in my 40’s than when I was in my 30’s.

        • I also too found out that life after 40 is great.. Now with both my boys grown, me and my hubby can just take off either on his bike (Harley) or get in our truck and leave town for a weekend.. I have so much to look forward too and my life is GREAT and we‘re all healthly and happy..

          I have a WONDERFUL LIFE!!

        • Loving my 40’s as well. Since my daughters are older I can devote time to myself and get to know me..I had my first daughter at 21 so I have been a mom all my adult life.

There are times however, that I think “man when I was younger” but overall, it’s al good.

        • I can say after 40 or should I say since I’ve turned 40 because I think I’m settled into who I am and I really love me and I know now that my daughters out of school it’s my time to fly.

        • Life after 40 - life in my forties was THE best time of my life.  Now....hitting 50...we will just have to see.  It’s not sitting too well with me at the moment.  Just like hitting 30 was no day at the beach!  I guess I will be good for the next 10. Who knows.

        • My forties have been my best years. My health has been worse, but my love of life and family and being able to come into who I am and truly accept it has been awesome!!

My girls are grown and on their own and I thought this would be the time for Hubby and I to have our time to ourselves, but we are raising out granddaughter, so it seems like we‘re starting all over again. That’s ok though, I wouldn’t change a thing. I need her just as much as she needs us! Just wish I had the stamina that I had when I was raising mine!! lol estatic
