I visit Los Angeles all the time because my daughter models there.  Some things I noticed that perhaps locals are used to but I feel potentially dangerous.

      1)  Motorcycles driving on dividing line in stopped traffic, I actually saw one guy hit a cars mirror and broke his leg near our care.  For those that do not know.  In stopped traffic, motorcyclist make the white dividing line between the stopped cars a lane.  Very deadly.

      2) As beautiful and rich as Los Angeles is.. Get some left turn protected traffic lights.  Turning Left is crazy... in a big city there are only maybe five left turn lights, if you want to turn left at an intersection, you have to pull out to the middle of the intersection and wait for traffic to finnish to turn or go before light turns green.
Ive never been in a city that doent have left hand turning signals.

      3) Parking meters.  First of all they are a rip off.  You have to over load the meter in order not to be late a half second or you get a $ 50.00 ticket, that you cant contest and that the courts dont know how to apply properly when you pay it.  Its a nightmare even calling the courts.  Good luck fighting a parking ticket and the ticket police are heartless... I was getting a pedicure on Beverly Hills and parked across the street at a meter and my Pedi was running behind and I had to do an Eddie Murphy across Beverly  Hills Blvd in rubber pedi slippers to put in a quarter before 5 PM.  Very embarrassing too.  But I made it.  Parking meter money could pay for the left hand turning signals very badly needed and also, they should give you meters that give you change when you leave so you dont have to use all your quarters in one meter because you left too early and put a ton in to aviod paying a ticket.  Its a Catch 22.

      4) What is the deal with the cant park between 10 to 2 on Monday and Weds on one side of the road but can on Thursday and Friday but not on Tuesday ?  Its confusing and crazy.. all it does is leave people wasting valuable fuel.. Gasoline that is very expensive now driving and trying to find where to park.  If the roads need cleaning it should be mornings only after you go to work for only a couple of hours.

      5) Whats the deal about the sign on Sunset Blvd where you cant cruise it over once or twice, there is nothing like rolling the windows down, playing Red Hot Chili Peppers and cruising down Sunset at night, just to see whats going on everywhere.

      Well thats my Bitch..

      Til Next bitch day
