    • Tell me a little about how you lost the first five pounds of many. Was it fun? Was it your idea? Are you still doing it and how does it feel today?

        • You can check out my lean for life group. I have lost over 40 lbs, and at least half that many inches (I have done a comparison all over body measurement in quite some time.)
I have lost fat, and not lean muscle, even though I don’t exercise consistently (but I am working on that!)
I have used low glycemic eating, coupled with natural, healthy dietary supplements. Losing the healthy way by making lifestyle changes will prevent the yo-you effect which is actually less healthy than not losing at all. We’d love to have you join us. We are going to be doing weekly encouragment calls.. check out the group! :)

        • Happymomma,

Is the lose fat,not lean-guaranteed a product of yours. What products do you use other than this one.

        • This is my friend Cheri. I take the same products she does to maintain my weight.

        • Vigirl,

Thanks for the input. I haven’t tried all the “shakes” on the market but the ones I’ve tried didn’t work for me, which is the reason why I try fun ways at exercise and strategically eat what I like, along with healthy food choices.

        • Missed this yesterday. I do use the guaranteed products, but also focus on low glycemic eating, and feeding my body the proper fuel mix (protein, carb, fat in the proper amounts.) The Osolean isn’t really a ‘shake‘. It is a protein peptide powder that has no added taste so you can put it in just about anything. Shakes, like ‘diets’ don’t work for the long haul...unless you are committed to continue doing what you do to lose it in the first place. :) I love mixing my Osolean in my shake... just because I don’t have time for breakfast, and it is a quick snack.
I also use all of Mannatech’s Optimal Health system... but that is a blog in and of itself. :) Short and simple - it gave me my life back.

You can read more about my weight loss journey at the Lean for Life group. Some of it is interspersed in the comments on the roll call thread. I am all about inches instead of pounds. I still need to do a then:now comparison complete body measurement to get a total. The scales say over 40 lbs. A guess would be 20 inches, but it might be more. I have surpassed my initial goal, and rediscovered a me I thought was gone forever. :) Now, I want to pay it forward and share with others the knowledge that empowered me.

        • I drink a protein shake every morning as part of a balanced diet. It’s cheaper for me than eating food and it’s a completely nutritious meal. That’s just me. Plus, I’m not hungry enough in the morning to eat and the worst thing would be to skip a meal.

        • Six months ago I wrote "Losing Weight Inches at a Time". My report today is that when I purchased a new item of clothing I was able to fit in a size 10 but you can imagine the 12 was better. My waist is smaller and I have dropped a few pounds as well.
