You sometimes tend to get caught up in other things in life and put the things that really mean something to you aside.  I’ve started up reading good books again like I used to - finish one, pick up another and so on. I find that if I put too much time between books, I then get into other stuff that don’t relax me and fulfill my need for growth as reading does.  I just finished two books in succession in a week’s time.  “Swimsuit” by James Patterson - WOW - pure Patterson and it reads so quickly.  The other was “Black Hills” by Nora Roberts - really good story and one you just couldn’t put down.  Now I’m going to read the 2nd book in the “Twilight” series, “New Moon.”  I have a bookcase full of books I’ve bought myself or received as gifts throughout the last 10 years or so and just never took the time to get into.  Now that I don’t work anymore (yipee), I can devote my relaxation time to this wonderful hobby.

        • Another Michael Palmer book.  I find an author, read one of his/her first books.  If I like it I start from the very first book they wrote up until present book.  But, I read 3 to 5 books a week for pleasure.

Now for informational reading well that’s the daily newspaper local and other if available.  Also, if a friend recommends a book outside of whatever I’m reading I’ll read that along with the book I’m reading.  I listen to books as I drive to and from work daily.  So, usually I have 2 to 3 books going at a time.  Doesn’t get confusing MOST of the time because different types of books.  I just LOVE to read.
