Ive been wracking my brain trying to figure out why I have these continous dreams that Im pregnant.
Every dream Ive had for the past few YEARS have been me being preggers and in different situations. They are all very real and im always pregnant with a little girl. (( i have 2 boys )) and actually never dreamed of having a girl i wanted boys.
Im finished having children, and very blessed to have them but also happy about it because im definitly a 2 kid mother maximum lol!
So why the heck am i dreaming about being pregnant?
Im DONE AND DONE lol! btw- its been 7 yrs and im still so happy im not preggers anymore because my last pregnancy was so difficult and painful throughout.

        • Hey Coco!

Dreams regarding pregnancy don’t usually relate to actual pregnancy. It would usually have to do with something emerging in your life.  This could be a major shift, an idea, personal growth area for you or a relationship.  If you stop and think about these things and when you have had your dream you may begin to recognize it.  If you think about how we are as women.....we are always giving birth to a new self.  Go back over time and see your self at 20, 30, 40....the same woman but a new woman.  The same thing is true as a mother or wife...we evolve.  So pregnancy is the same....think on the 3 stages of pregnancy.  Projects have stages of development too.

if you are repeatedly having the dream its definitely connected to something.  i think dreams are the way we talk to ourselves to work things out.  Then again....sometimes they are just silly dreams.  happy

        • Well.... any time I dream I’m pregnant or in labor, I wake up finding I’ve got a big ol’ belly ache from something I shouldn’t have eaten.  LOL!   Since your dreams have been over a period of years, that’s probably not what’s going on with you.  But often times our dreams reflect our physical state during the night.

        • I figured out a reoccurring dream that I had been having since I was an adolescent when I went back to school years ago~and the message was for me to uncover a part of my personality that I was afraid to see with my whole conscious state. Once I deciphered this dream and figured it out, I never had it again...and I had been having it on and off for probably 10 years prior to that day.

        • I took this from a dream dictionary I have in my favorites:

To dream that you are pregnant, symbolizes an aspect of yourself or some aspect of your personal life that is growing and developing. You may not be ready to talk about it or act on it. Being pregnant in your dream may also represent the birth of a new idea, direction, project or goal. Alternatively, if you are trying to get pregnant, then the dream may be a wish fulfillment. If you are not trying to get pregnant, but dream that you are, then it symbolizes fear of new responsibilities.

        • Coco, I have to agree with Annie (seems like I do that a lot!). I had a year where I had several sequential pregnancy dreams, resulting in labor. At the time I was working with a friend to begin a new ministry. Each phase of the process seemed to correlate to the dreams.

Last year I had another pregnancy dream, but in this one another friend of mine was also pregnant. Now, please keep in mind that I’m 54 when I had this dream! And she is older than I. I sent her a message asking her if she had an unfulfilled dream or passion. She was reluctant to share.

This same friend is an artist so I asked her for some help designing a logo for a coffee/music house which she was delighted to do. After we began meeting, she finally confided in me. Her dream was to own a coffee house! She has too much fear to follow her dream. Me? I’m just waiting for the right time and opportunity!

          Blessings!!!

        • Thanks Kyah that sounds like what I was thinking deep down.
I love my job but all my life Ive never done what I truly love most of all...my Art! Im my happiest doing my drawings.
To illustrate childrens books or do something with my art maybe? Illustrate greeting cards maybe?
Seems to me to stop these pregnancy dreams I need to do a little work and overcome some things that may be keeping me from doing what my soul is screaming out to do.

heartIm glad i posted this I felt kinda silly doing it but what the heck we all have strange things that we experience

        • Coco, if you have a gift you love, share it with the world. Do it all, illustrate books, greeting cards the works. Check out what’s already out there, and work to perfect your style, and make your art unique.
