This past week, my older daughter bought her first car.  She has her own payment and is now carrying her own car insurance.  Confidentially, i breathed a sigh of relief at the latter of those statements.

Jacquelyn is attending college and works part time doing hair.  We told her she needed to have a minimum of $1,000.00 in the bank before we would help her find a car and that she needed to maintain that balance to cover any unforseen expenses incurred due to owning a car.  She agreed and complied so once she accomplished the financial piece, she and my husband set to looking for something that would be reliable and not break her.  Imagine our surprise when they came across a cream puff of a car...an Audi A4.

She’s so proud of her new wheels!  We were able to sell the car she’s been driving the last couple years, too!

I wonder what she’ll name it...her last car was “Kitty” because of her over-the-top obsession with Hello Kitty and all the HK accessories she adorned that car with! So far, no sign of the HK seat covers, steering wheel cover, etc.

Here she is with her new “baby“.
