    • Today I went shopping at Publix and Kroger!

I usually save more at Publix than I did today. But they did have some good buy one get one frees...but I still did not have coupons for those items...except for the Jack Daniels BBQ sauce.  It was $2.29 ...and it was a B1G1...then I had two coupons for the bbq sauce...at 55 cents each. So I got each bottle for 60 cents each.

The other B1G1 frees were Emerald Peanuts w/Sea Salt...

                                Aunt Jemima Pancake Mix

                                Aunt Jemima Syrup

                                Hormel cans of Chicken Breast

                                Skippy Peanut Butter

I really do not need all that pancake mix and syrup but I know of a lady that just got her own apartment and is pretty much starting over and I’m making her a bag filled with stuff for her pantry along with detergent...and toiletries.

I can now pass along my savings to someone who is truly in need.  That is what I love about couponing.

**I did much better at Kroger.  Spending $36.52 and saving $59.14.

My bargain of the day there was my Bic Soile Razor blades...that were regular priced at $5.49 a pack of 3 or 4..depending on which kind you got.  They were on sale for $3.99 each and I had (9) coupons for $3.00 off.  So I got (9) packs of razor blades for .99 each.  I’m thrilled.

I loaded an ecoupon to my Kroger card for $2.00 off on a six pack of Brawney paper towels.  They were regular priced for $9.99...on sale for $6.49 and I loaded the $2.00 coupon to my Kroger card and got them for $4.49.  I got Northern Bath tissue ...regular priced $8.99...on sale for $5.99 and I loaded a $2.00 Ecoupon onto my Kroger card and I got them for $3.99. You can never have too much toilet tissue or paper towels..LOL.

So those are my deals for today.....

        • Annie...the ecoupon is with Kroger.  You go to the Kroger website and register...and your put in your Kroger card #.  Then when I go to the Kroger store...and get ready to pay I give them my Kroger card..and when I purchase the items I loaded to my card through the Kroger website..it automatically takes those coupons off my total.  You can add coupons and remove them.  You use to be able to use the ecoupons AND a manufacturer coupon that you would have in hand but they stopped that.  So you have to be sure that the ecoupon you load to your card is better than any manufacturer coupon you might have in your hand.  In this case...I didn’t have any coupons for Brawney or Quilted Northern that were more than $2.00 each.

Savingsstar..is another program you register any grocery store or drug store cards that you have.  They have coupons on their site you can electronically clip.  When you buy those things and swipe your card at any stores you have registered your store card at..you will get that savings put into a savings account. When you reach $5.00 you choose how you want your money...direct deposited to your bank acct., to your paypal account, or an amazon account.  In this case you get your savings back plus you can still use any manufacturer coupon at that store as well.  I’m a big fan of this program.
