        • It all comes from being present in the moment doesn't it?  Whatever moment we're in, well, at the moment...we can't make things or people move any faster by being impatient - nor do we help anything by bringing our own baggage or our own worries about the future, into the situations we're dealing with in the moment.  A colleague who resigned last week was remarking to me that a mutual friend felt in her heart that she was contributing to the common good in her current job/role and that is what kept her getting enthusiastically out of bed each morning to get to work.  Well if you knew where we worked you'd know that humanity is not necessarily bettered because of what we do every day - can we make someone else's life a little easier or a little more (or a lot more) difficult by being more human or by being nasty ourselves though?  Absolutely!

        • I had a boss who always said, misery loves company, don’t let people bring you down.  Bad attitudes are like a poison in a company.   We all know those people.  The ones who complain everyday about their jobs and they want nothing more than for everyone to gossip with them.   I say surround yourself with positive people and be a positive force yourself.  When you are positive, good things come  your way.  Approach every situation no matter how daunting with and attitude that you will be able to accomplish it and accomplish it well.  Be resourceful and creative in your approach.
