Well today seeing we‘re all out of turkey and dressing, I took out some pork chops and will cook those to go with the left over collard greens, potato salad and mac/cheese for dinner tonight how about you? What’s for dinner at your house tonight?

        • Hi Tuesday, my collards are cooked in this fashion:

prior to cooking the greens after cutting and washing them I prepare my stock for them.

I wash and put in my pot either some smoked turkwy or smoked neckbones, I add onion powder, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, season salt, Accent, and some sliced jalepeno peppers and cut up a raw onion for added flavor. I let all that cook until the stock in boiling them I add about a 1/2 cup of olive oil and the greens and let them cook until they are tender and there is not a lot of stock in the pot. Enjoy!
