Happy Mother's Day Sweet Girlfriends !!!

Whether you have children or not, we have all experienced a situation where we say to ourselves “Oh, Out of the Mouths of Babes...“In keeping with the Spirit of this Holiday where we celebrate “our Mothers” or “others celebrate what wonderful Mother’s we are,” I thought it’d be fun to share some quotes from the children who bring so much joy and happiness to our lives...

One day my Daughter (3 at the time) was anxiously waiting for me to join her on the floor to put together a new game I had just purchased for her...Growing impatient with me by the second she said “Cmon Mommy what are you waiting for?” I replied “Hold on baby, we first need to read the directions...” then she said “What ERECTIONS Mommy, I don’t see ERECTIONS” LOL...Of course after that I replied “DI RECTIONS!”

        • I have managed to enjoy the benefits of having a granddaughter without actually becoming a mother first. So, helping with the raising of her over the last 3 years has been a two fold joyful experience. Recently she and I attended an art class together. I looked in my rear view mirror and was watching her play in her car seat and I said, “you‘re a good girl, Jazelle.” Then she said, “you‘re a good girl, too, meema.” Made me laugh and cry at the same time.

        • My daughter had to describe what your parents do at school and do a picture to go with it and I was very skinny with very high heels and huge earrings on and a massive bag and underneath Alice had written

" My Mummy runs round all day shouting at men in her high heels and selling shoes "

It made me laugh as it was true ......

          --------------------

so my son, i think around 2.5, comes running into me after his nap.

Austin- “Mommy I bwoke it i bwoke it”

Me- (instant panic, is he ok) “sweetie come here what what are you ok?’

Austin - (pointing down to said undies with hard peepee) “It bwoke in my nap”

ME- (trying hard not to burst out laughing and pee myself - twin belly going on) “Aw sweetie, it’s not broken. Sometimes when lil boys and even daddies wake up this happens. (in my best how u talk to a 2 yr old voice)“It’s going to be ok in a few minutes, do not be scared”

          —-a few minutes later

Austin- “Mommy (huge grin) It’s all better” (runs to me, pats my belly, his girls he calls it, and heads off to play legos)

Mommy- praying she handled that well and it does not scar him for life! rofl

        • Remember the public service announcement commercial in the mid 80s that said ” This is your brain. This is your brain on drugs.”

Randy was in kindergarten. He comes in to the kitchen with a most serious look and says “Mom.” “Drugs is breakfast.”

        • Please bear with me, the video is 2 minutes long. It’s the first time I’ve attempted this and I didn’t clip it down. I’ll get the hang of this flip video stuff. Hope you enjoy my little granddaughter’s fascination with bubbles.
