I am interested in hearing about any groups, books or websites that may have helped you through the loss of a pet.  Please tell me if you have any info on that, and I will share  here and add it to the pet loss resource page of my site [Link Removed]

Animal issues will be part of my journals right along with the human issues, as they are a part of my life.

      Thank you heart

        • When I lost my Rusty-Dawg, especially the unexpected way in which it happened, I was completely devastated & heart broken frown That was almost 2.5 yrs ago now & I still cry when I think of him but at least now I’m also able to smile sometimes at the happy moments we shared. I miss that boy so much.

I read so many books, blogs, articles etc to try to help me get through the grief. A few of the books I remember off hand are:
“The Healing Loss of Pet Parenthood” by Nadine M. Rosin and she also has a great blog with lots of information.
“All Pets go to Heaven. The Spiritual Lives of the Animals we Love” by Sylvia Browne. I know some of her stuff is controversial but I was searching for anything that might me help come to terms with what happened & get through it.

There were others but I’d have to find them. My books are still in boxes because I moved to a new house in March & haevn’t unpacked a lot of stuff for lack of space.
