Evening All...Cheryl here aka cmrobert. I discovered FAB40 in Jan09. Not here as often as I use to be but I do check in a couple times a week. The women here are indeed fabulous, wise, witty, concise, supportive, sincere, honest and fun. I enjoy it here.

Hello everyone - this is very new for me. I am 46 and live in San Benito, Texas. I am currently in Houston terminal waiting for my flight to Neveda - I have a 3 hour wait. Oh Melissa I feel your pain and no matter what any one says it is pain. We had to put our corgi down about six years ago and I still miss her. Time is an amazing thing and unfortunately that is what it will take before you start feeling yourself again. I know how hard it is to try to carry on as you were but you do have to do something for yourself in order to get through this. And you will get through this. Get out side go for a walk call a girlfriend and go for a coffee or for that matter a drink. Take it one minute at a time and then one hour. Eventually you will start to feel the pain ease, but it will take some time and you just have to plan for that and embrace it to get through it. Talk about it that seemed to help also. I hope this helps and know that I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
